The Journey

Friends and family have been encouraging me to do this for years. Ours is the home that gathers, and I am grounded by the act of feeding others, whether it be for a couple of friends, or a client group of hundreds. I like the assembly of a menu that makes sense to the palate, and the season. Perhaps it is because summer will eventually become autumn or maybe, it's just time. So here I go, about to share the largest file I have, 30 years of recipes, created, sourced, or given, even some from generations past. The swallows are back, it must be spring! A flock came in this morning and checked out all the cabins. Like coming back to summer camp to see if they’re still the same as remembered from last year. This year’s upgrade is new sloped roofs, providing much needed ventilation for those hot summer days. Meshed to stop others from building in the attics. #violetgreens #fivecabins #sharedcupolacondos
